Some Trail Cam/photo op bears 2020

Bear Essential Wilderness Adventures: Bears and more bears...
We are just killing time here in northern Saskatchewan watching bears and more bears. Shane had 3 bears at one time on site a few nights ago. Two chocolates and a black...all in all, our game cams show at least 11 bears hitting a single site. We have stands set up and have some great family evenings as we walk out the 200 yards from the farm cabin (forest/farmland fringe) to sit and watch bears in the evening. We never have time to do that normally! We are the outfitters - normally our job is to set up hunters to enjoy the bear sightings. :) Having fun in bear camp, but missing our hunters!! Check out these pics/videos of some notable bears in 2020...note these are all on ONE site 200 yards from the forest fringe/farmland hunter accommodations :) (Some bears get multiple coverage just because they are awesome!) Be sure to check back as we add more....

Bears from previous years...

Lots of bears...never had a hunter who did NOT see a number of bears!

Some Bears still at large for 2019...

Bluebird

Bluebird is a bear named by one of our hunters. The hunter chose the name Bluebird because he was reminded of a Bluebird Bus when he saw this bruin through the trees!

Ol' Three legs

This bear a bit of a legend in our neck of the woods. In his younger years he was caught by an old trapper, but managed to break free before the trapper got the chance to harvest him. Ol' Three Legs, however, did not leave without constant reminders of his run in with the trapper. He has grown into a large, dark chocolate bruin, even missing his front right leg and sporting a snare around his neck. There is no question, in the area he has chosen to inhabit, Ol' Three Legs is the king of woods!
